Fundamentally, my work addresses humanity’s relationship to food, domesticated or engineered animals, and ecosystems. It asks how humans can live in the world responsibly, seeking balance within these relationships. This as an ecosystem-based approach in the sense that my art practice stimulates my mind and daily life and vice versa. While I see the world around me as being in deeply layered states of disrepair, the act of making this work is a hopeful exercise.
